Through participation in sports and physical activity growing up, Noel gained an understanding of the importance of living an active, healthy lifestyle. Calisthenics was his introduction to fitness, which he still passionately practices, specializing in the gymnastic rings. His experience working in Physical Therapy settings have developed his skills in therapeutic and corrective exercise associated with our natural biomechanical rhythms. He has coached children in basketball and life skills, enhanced mobility and performance in competitive athletes, improved functionality and quality of life in adults and college students, and increased the strength of people with disabilities. Past works include being the fitness coordinator for SJSU Air Force ROTC Program and assistant trainer for the Golden State Road Warriors Wheelchair Basketball team. Moreover, Noel has taken part in leading Functional Mobility, Posture Analysis and Correction, and Fall Prevention workshops. Noel’s groundwork is built on functional, integrative training, providing practical knowledge and sharing technique that is both transferrable and applicable to everyday life and longevity. As a teacher (trainer), he intends to do his part in society by helping his students become better humans through development of their mental, spiritual, and physical strength and health.
“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”
